Duration: 6 to 12+ Months
Rate: DOE

Description:Responsible for New Hire Onboarding providing IT tech support. Ability to track new hire request and provide laptops in timely manner. Must have knowledge of the enterprise’s business/products such as Microsoft Windows/macOS, Microsoft O365 Outlook, OneDrive, Zoom, Cisco AnyConnect VPN, VMWare virtual environment. Associate's or Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.


Position Summary...
What you'll do...
The Operations Analyst 1 - Tech is responsible for supporting laptops, desktops, Mac or Windows machines and productivity software for associates and vendors located on the West Coast. This individual will work with members of other Tech Onboarding teams in California, Bentonville, and other locations.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to: 
• Ability to image Macs and Windows PC
• Setup Mac or Windows PC laptops for new hires
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software and hardware
• Proactively respond to requests, inquiries, and status as they arise 
• Diagnose hardware issues and need be to send for repairs (RMA)
• Maintain a high degree of customer service for all requests 
• Manage user and computer accounts using Active Directory
• Identifies technical issues and opportunities for improvement
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs
• Additional job responsibilities assigned by manager
Required Qualifications: 
• Associate degree/Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience 
• 3+ years in a technical support role 
• 3+ years supporting Windows and MacOS hardware and software
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle pressures well in a fast paced, team environment
• Excellent customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Networking HW, LAN and Wi-Fi, DNS
• Knowledge of Active Directory users and groups

Preferred Qualifications: 
• Jamf JSS and SCCM knowledge or certifications is a PLUS
• Microsoft certification is a PLUS
• Experience with security tools like Symantec and McAfee
