Description:
The eCommerce Tech Lead is a position within the fast-growing Stream business group, which is focused on delighting viewers through amazing entertainment experiences. As eCommerce Tech Lead you will develop and enhance the customer lifecycle journey from shopping, checkout and activation to account management and support.  In this role you will drive design and solutions across a wide range of eCommerce processes including inventory and hardware, first-party and third-party merchandising, one-time transactions and recurring subscriptions, campaign offers and bundles, self-serve account management and drive integrations with ERP, CRM, Logistics, Payments and other systems.  Working across functions, levels, teams and geographies, you will be developing solutions at the intersection of marketing, finance, legal and operations.  Ultimately you are an innovator and creative problem solver who will evolve a core platform for our future success.


Skills:
Roles and responsibilities
·         Lead requirements analysis, design, development, and maintenance of eCommerce website and applications that operate 24x7
·         Participate in troubleshooting production escalations and resolve follow up action items
·         Assist in PCI/SOX compliance operational activities
·         Lead monitoring, reporting, security/compliance requirements for e-commerce
·         Coordinate with cross-functional technical teams, business teams, and analysts for the effective completion of Magento e-commerce features
·         Maintain communication regarding priorities, effort-estimates, requirements, and status of eCommerce team tasks/assignments as per agile process/methodologies.
·         Mentor team with establishing development tools and procedures focused on developer best practices, improving quality and developer
·         Perform code reviews and provide support to other team members when needed to support a collaborative environment 
·         Own eCommerce design documentation to maintain consistency with ongoing updates
·         Participate in performance testing, load testing requirements specification and results review
·         Stay up to date with industry trends and development practices. 

Education:    
 Skills and Experience

·         Magento 2 Certified
·         7+ years full stack software development experience
·         4+ years of experience in backend and frontend implementation of large, scalable Magento eCommerce solutions 
·         Proven experience leading Magento development team in all phases of SDLC process
·         Experience with order to cash process, payment processing, customer account management, and website
·         Experience with PHP, JavaScript, CMS, XML/JSON and MYSQL (REST style services), Cloud technologies
·         Experience with integrations involving ERP, Salesforce/CRM, middleware, third party integrations, and other custom/enterprise systems
·         Background of micro services, Docker, Vagrant is a plus
·         Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, cloud-based applications
·         Knowledge of application server configurations, memory/connection management
·         Knowledge of security and compliance requirements
·         Working knowledge of REST APIs
·         Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environment
·         Results oriented technologist with a passion for creative technical solutions to address business requirements
·         Attention to detail and customer focused
·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·         Effective communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
