Roles and Responsibilities – Customer Research Analyst, Customer Insights

Job overview
This role requires an experienced market research professional, with survey research experience on the vendor or corporate side; advertising research experience a plus. This position offers an opportunity to work with a small but growing team to help expand our research capabilities across the company. This role will have exposure across Analytics, Sales, and Marketing teams within Walmart Connect. The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders and making actionable recommendations to stakeholders based on survey findings.
Job responsibilities include
• Partner with various teams across Walmart Connect to develop both internal and external (consumer facing) surveys
• Collaborating with various teams to develop research plans and survey methodology
• Designing questionnaires and programming surveys
• Day to day project management, with internal teams and with third party vendors
• Report writing and analysis, including actionable next steps and recommendations
• Presenting survey findings and recommendations to key internal and external stakeholders
• Evaluation of surveys, the methods underlying them, and their performance to improve future surveys

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, analytics or any related field AND 5+ years of experience in consumer research including attitude & usage testing, concept testing, satisfaction studies (internal & external), creative A/B testing and consumer behavioral and mindset trends
• Experience using online survey tools such as Survey Monkey
• Ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical, writing and presentation skills
• Self-starter with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in developing and presenting strategic, action-oriented recommendations to large groups including leadership
• Team player who can thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Proficient in statistical software to analyze data is a plus
