We have the following urgent requirement with our direct client:
Title:  Full Stack Engineer - Front end
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration:  6+ months
Compensation:  DOE

Position Summary
  •  As a Software Engineer in Search Tools team, you will be making a positive impact on our Customer experience.
  •  The Tools are used daily by Merchants, Engineers and Executives to make informed decisions, change User Experience, etc. 
  •  All teams within our Search team — business, evaluation, operations, system, big data, leadership — 
  •  depends on the data we gather about business and needs to make impactful decisions.
  •  Our work is high-impact: it makes the entire Search team, particularly the product operation team, able to iterate faster and react to changes that accelerate business growth. 
  •  As a Search Tools’ member, you will have visibility into every other team.
 Required Qualifications
 - Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields with 3-5 years of experience as software engineer or 
 similar role.
 - Proficient in Javascript
 - Proficiency with the Web architecture, at least one modern javascript framework (React.js preferred).
 - Excellent communication skills.
 - Experience building SPA (Single Page Apps).
 - Experience building services using back end technologies (Nodejs, Rails) 
 - knowledge of SQL and database technologies (Hive, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB) 
 - Knowledge of Ruby and Python
 - Self-starter who is willing to learn new technologies and dive-in to imperfectly-formed technical questions.
 - Building novel visualization tools that help Search team members easily use core datasets to generate insights.
 - Deep knowledge in computer science fundamentals and software design best practices.

 - Design high performance, highly scalable web application.
 - Build and maintain new features on supported Tools platforms.
 - Work with business and PM to draw and visualize key insights.
 - Stay abreast of the fast moving field of Web UI, SPA, big data, open source.
 - Leverage and improve upon the computing resources of the world’s largest retailer.
