Duties:
The Project Manager for this role will be responsible for the day to day project management of key HR projects. The Project Manger will lead project management efforts to improve the overall productivity and effectiveness within the HR organization in partnership with the Head of Planning/PMO. This position will work collaboratively and cross functionally with business owners, systems and technology leaders, and HR partners at all levels.

Areas of Responsibilities
Project Management:
  • Engage in detailed project planning activities in partnership with the Head of planning/PMO. Coordinate detailed work plan development
  • Implement and deploy critical projects utilizing an overall standardized HR Project Management methodology, tools, training and communications.
  • Ensure that all projects have a project plan appropriate to the project's complexity and size that highlights the milestones, tasks, dependencies, owners and due date
  • Partner with HR Project Leader on executing project, updating project plans, facilitating meetings, taking notes, communicating to project team to help move project to completion.
  • Analyze requests for change of scope, timelines, or deliverables and make recommendations based on project principles.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate and manage risks, issues and interdependencies of key projects
  • Develop relationships across business partners and functional teams to help support the utilization and allocation of resources. Ensure that cross-functional resources are held accountable for task and outcome completion.
  • Serve as a resource for HR team members to provide them with information and guidance needed to complete their tasks successfully
Skills:
  • 5-7+ years' experience in business function, project management
  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in creating work plans, meeting deliverables, and effectively managing a portfolio of projects and activities.
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Professional drive - this position requires someone with initiative and a high sense of urgency.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Organizational skills - ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute on assigned deliverables.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team to effectively get results with cross-functional / matrix resources.
  • Extremely detail oriented and ability to drive projects to closure
  • Continuous improvement attitude; ability to suggest and implement best practices
  • Solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgement
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
MS Degree Preferred
