We are urgently looking for Sr. Teradata developer for our Direct client requirement

TITLE: Senior Data Engineer ( SQL, ETL, Hive/Hadoop )
LOCATION: Sunnyvale, CA
DURATION: 6+ months 
Rate: DOE
 
Technical Requirements 
  • Looking for someone with hands on experience and is comfortable working with large sets of data/. 
  • Strong SQL experience is desired
  • Hadoop/ Hive experience is desired 
  • Tableau and/ or Teradata experience is desired. Be able to report and create dashboards within the tool.
  • Looking for a strong background within Data Modeling, Performance tuning, creating Pipelines, Validating Data (ETL) 
  • Cassandra would be a plus 
  • Any Cloud exposure would be a plus / GCP would be a plus 
  • Python and/or Unix programing/ scripting would be a plus 
  • Enterprise level and/or ecommerce experience would be a plus (less ramp up time needed) 


Position Summary 
• Very Strong engineering skills. Should have an analytical approach and have good programming skills. 
• Provide business insights, while leveraging internal tools and systems, databases and industry data 
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience. Experience in retail business will be a plus. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences on engineering subject matter 
• Ability to document requirements, data lineage, subject matter in both business and technical terminology. 
• Guide and learn from other team members. 
• Demonstrated ability to transform business requirements to code, specific analytical reports and tools 
• This role will involve coding, analytical modeling, root cause analysis, investigation, debugging, testing and collaboration with the business partners, product managers other engineering team. 

 


Employee Referral Program:

We are hiring !
The Employee referral bonus is $500 per referral after the new full-time employee successfully completes 90 days.
The referral bonus for hourly contractor is $250 after the completion of 90 days.
However, managers who have hiring/team building as part of regular management duties are not eligible in the program.
