We have following urgent need with our client

Title: Project Manager  - Automotive or Mechanical System design
Duration: 6 to 12+ Months

- 3+ Years Project Manager ( PjM) Exp is required on Automotive or Mechanical System designs.

Technical Requirements
  • Master degree in Engineering (electronical, mechatronics, mechanical), physics or equivalent.
  • Several years of professional experience in product development and proven track record in project management under one of the industry quality management systems (CMMI, ISO-TS, AS9100).
  • A project management certification (e.g. PMP) would be a plus.
  • Ability to effectively work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Rigorous, result oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Point of contact for project’s technical discussions with cross-competency team, management and customers.
  • Create and maintain a technical team environment (including customer technical resources) where decision points are quickly identified, reviewed, analyzed and decisions made while building teamwork and commitment to the project.
  • Coordinate and support the product development team with technical design analysis, trade-off studies, FMEAs, design reviews and customer presentations.
  • Overall responsibility for successful project(s) execution to meet the project charter(s).
  • Process: follow LEANPD process and control documentation including design and development history; setup and maintain data in project management system on regular base to keep it up-to-date.
  • Economic analysis: conduct as needed analysis in support of project control, alternatives evaluation, variance analysis, cost calculations, generate and maintain “profit and lost” (P&L) calculations.
  • Cost control: Manage the project capital, expense and resource expenditures to stay within budget and ensure that the financial returns are maintained.
  • Communications: Develop the project communication plan, lead periodical project reviews with customers, hold weekly internal project reviews as needed, report project progress as well as manager and influence stakeholder expectations.
  • Planning: Lead and develop effective project plans including core areas of project integration, timing, costs, risk management, communications, project quality, human resources, procurement planning, and scope.
  • Risk Management: effectively create, monitor and control risk management plans.

The referral bonus for hourly contractor is $250 after the completion of 90 days.
