Title:  Technical Product Analyst / Manager - eCommerce Search
LOCATION: Sunnyvale, CA
DURATION: 6+ months ( Contract to hire (CTH) ) - Available
Compensation: Competitive ( DOE )

Position Summary
  • This is ideally contract to hire position.
  • We are looking for the best and the brightest to help shape the future vision of Client's eCommerce Search products.
  • We are looking for a highly motivated self starter, with a laser sharp focus on data and success metrics, a keen eye for what makes a good product, and above all, someone who puts our users at the front and center.
  • In addition, we are looking for candidates who are familiar with search relevance algorithms, or other complex data analysis challenges; are flexible and can grow from one product into another; and ideally has a background in eCommerce. 
This specific role will start out by shepherding our new Search tooling platform into production.
From there, this role will have many opportunities for growth into other Search challenges. 
Our Search Team is proud to be solving complex relevance problems like query understanding, visual search, machine learning, search tools, and many more.

  • Gather input from a variety of internal and external sources to define product concepts.
  • Client is looking for  Product Analyst / Owner / Manager with Search, eCommerce and Software background
  • Work in close collaboration with our engineers and business owners to manage product/project related tasks.
  • Respond to the needs of customers throughout the development process.
  •  Develop detailed requirements, feature definitions and implementation plans.
  • Compose clear, succinct user stories that capture user empathy as part of an Agile project framework. Manage product backlog and user story priorities.
  • Participate on cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development. Proactively identify problems that arise, outline options, recommend solutions, and escalate as needed.
  • Champion the needs of business teams and stakeholders throughout the development process, ensuring that what is delivered meets the original goals and objectives of the project.
  • Convincingly communicate product solutions and benefits to customers and stakeholders.
  •  Hands on experience in converting business requirements into actionable requirement for engineering teams. Gather business requirements, Write BRDs, functional Specification, User flows, System flows, Technical Specification including API specifications
  •  Define the metrics that measure product success, and use data to drive decisions.
  • The Product Manager will be heavily involved with business and marketing teams in customer research activities including market research, usability testing, live on-site experiments, and analysis of site analytics.
  • Aid in leading a team of highly technical developers & testers as part of an agile scrum team.

Employee Referral Program:

We are hiring !
The Employee referral bonus is $500 per referral after the new full-time employee successfully completes 90 days.
The referral bonus for hourly contractor is $250 after the completion of 90 days.
However, managers who have hiring/team building as part of regular management duties are not eligible in the program.
