Title:  Sr. Software Engineer - Deployment Automation / DevOps
LOCATION: Sunnyvale, CA
DURATION: 12+ months 
Compensation: Competitive ( DOE )
 

Summary
  • The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for product migrations into latest tech-stack, and code necessary automations around it.
  • Technically you will understand the full end to end stack and use this knowledge to detect error/failures and take corrective action to mitigate.
  • You would work with various partner teams across the organization, you will draw on your technical skills and knowledge to triage any challenges around the migration.
  • Your ability to continuously challenge yourself and develop a strong network within your peer group will see you exceed in this role.
  • Our goal is to protect the customer experience and deliver outstanding levels of availability.

Required Skills and Experience

 • 7+ years in an engineering or development environment for highly complex distributed systems.
 • Experience in JAVA programming language and knowledge of frameworks.
 • Programming experience in one or more of the following languages- Shell, Python, Ruby, Groovy.
 • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes.
 • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt.
 • Experience in working on Unix/Linux environments.
 • Experience investigating, analyzing and troubleshooting large scale enterprise systems.
 • Experience and exposure with managing and scaling 24/7 enterprise level applications.
 • Methodical and systematic problem solving approach, combined with a solid awareness of ownership, initiative and drive.


Employee Referral Program:

We are hiring !
The Employee referral bonus is $500 per referral after the new full-time employee successfully completes 90 days.
The referral bonus for hourly contractor is $250 after the completion of 90 days.
However, managers who have hiring/team building as part of regular management duties are not eligible in the program.
