Description:
The Software Engineer position will be responsible for hands-on development as well as lead the development of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Global eCommerce. SE will be responsible for application development in support of the multi-platform roadmap. Responsible for application architecture, ensure high performance, scalability and availability for those applications.

Areas of responsibility include:
* Experience supporting IBM Sterling Application
• Develop Batch Jobs using Java and SQL.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues
• Alerting and Monitoring Subject Matter Expert (Splunk, Dynatrace, and other Enterprise Logging Tools)
• Develops Innovation strategies, processes, failover experience
• Experience in driving high availability across multiple applications
• Act quickly to analyze the available data and find the root cause of the problem when issues with the product arise
• Develop a solution themselves or pass the problem on to other engineering team members, all the while providing users with progress updates.
• Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance.
• System and Production Support status reporting.

- Influence decisions, builds consensus, and resolves conflicts constructively and proactively
- Supports business objectives and ensures the business needs are being met

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce Software development
- 2+ years of experience with Supporting /Developing IBM Sterling Commerce
- 5+ years of experience with Open Source technologies
- 4+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must
- 2+ years of experience with integrating 3rd party solutions in existing architecture
Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
