Project Manager

TITLE:  Project Manager 
LOCATION: San Bruno, CA
DURATION: 6+ months
Rate: DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and support monthly change operations, including intake evaluation of training requests
  • Continuously own and improve the monthly change process, including ownership/admin of team collaboration systems and process improvements
  • Lead regular team status meetings and provide updates
  • Manage internal team members and cross-functional owners for successful launch announcements, with the objective of improving customer satisfaction and quality of service
  • Support one-off projects/programs with issues, managing timelines, etc.
  • Provide analysis, recommendations, requirements, and coordinate implementation of team systems
  • Continuously own and improve the monthly change process, including ownership/admin of team collaboration systems and process improvements
  • Create new processes to ensure delivery effectiveness
  • Track team project deadlines and timelines
  • Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of training assets
  • Ensure team members can utilize the project management system and we are tracking our deliverables for reporting purposes

Manage Training and Change Management project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
• Work collaboratively with development team, 
• Create, manage and track project vehicles, including, but not limited to: 
o Project schedules
o Detailed project plans
o Project scope statements
o Cost estimates
o Resource plans
o Risk and issues logs
o Status reports
  • Tailor project management, development and support processes to meet the needs of individual (new and/or ongoing) projects.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers as needed in regards to project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting and interfacing with sponsors.
  • Make decisions and communicate trade-offs and risks; drive key decisions across projects. 
  • Make recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization and resource allocation with input from team members.
  •  Provide ongoing project plan/status reporting for use by account managers, clients and management. 
  •  Provide input into strategic planning and asset creation processes. 
  • Manage resource planning and organizational capacity planning. 

Qualifications:
  • 3+ year of experience as a project manager in a dedicated role in a training function 
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Experience managing multiple dependencies in project and program delivery
  • Ability to work within ambiguity and change direction quickly 
  • Experience with Hive project management software preferred
  • Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
